Yes. Email us — the surcharge is the difference between your purchase price and the current Practice License price. During the introductory period an upgrade can therefore cost just €50.
Are the client recordings GDPR-compliant?
Hypnotika stores all recordings locally on your devices — no cloud transmission by the app. GDPR-compliant by design. Good to know: by default the app saves recordings under Documents. If OneDrive syncs that folder, they end up in OneDrive too; you can pick a different folder under Settings → "Audio & Hardware" → "Session recording (MP3)". As the practitioner you remain responsible for consent (template provided), anonymisation and retention periods — we only deliver the technical tool.
What happens if the software crashes on the practice PC — is the session lost?
Hypnotika has a recovery mode: in case of a program crash, the running recording is saved up to the last few-second block. You can restore it later. No 100% guarantee, but in 95% of cases the recovery works cleanly.
