What hypnosis software needs to do

Specialized hypnosis software vs. generic music tools.

Spotify is for playlists. Audacity for audio editing. DJ software for clubs. None of these tools understands the hypnosis workflow — phases, soft transitions, voice-over-music. Hypnotika TranceDeck does.

◉

Phase buttons instead of scrolling through playlists

Intro → Middle → Climax → Outro. One click per phase. Out of the box, the "Standard session" preset is active, which plays a fixed playlist of bundled music for each phase. Without a fixed playlist, the software automatically picks from your pool one of the tracks whose BPM and key best fit the track that's playing.

◈

Mic-ducking — voice over music

When you speak, the software automatically dips the music. When you stop, it brings it back up. No fader, no attention loss on your client. One requirement: the microphone has to be on. "Enable microphone" is off by default — you turn it on during setup or under Settings → "Audio & Hardware". Ducking itself is on by default.

⎙

Session recording as MP3

Voice + music mixed as a clean MP3 file. Recording is off by default — you switch it on once during setup or under Settings → "Audio & Hardware" → "Session recording (MP3)"; for your voice, the microphone has to be on as well. From then on, the file is in your recording folder at the end of every session. With client consent, usable as a takeaway bonus (GDPR-compliant).

▣

Stream Deck integration

Hypnosis software with hardware buttons: trigger phases via Elgato Stream Deck or foot pedal — without touching the keyboard, without your client noticing you're doing anything.

≈

Nature sounds in parallel with the music

Five nature slots in the cockpit (forest, ocean, rain …) run as their own sound layer alongside the music — with an independent level control and a gentle auto-crossfade when you switch. While you speak, the nature layer stays constant; it's included in the session recording.

⚓

6 anchor-sound triggers

Six buttons (hotkeys Q–Z) fire short sounds over the running music — for the classical anchor technique, without mic-ducking lowering the anchor.

Hypnosis software vs. monthly tool subscriptions

Lifetime once, instead of years of subscriptions.

Tool Per year
Spotify Premium (crossfades from one track to the next, the way you set it up beforehand; no recording)€143.88
Adobe Audition (no live mixing)€287.88
DJ software (Serato Pro etc., for crossfades, no mic-ducking)€119.88
Hypnotika TranceDeck Lifetime €149 once

Who built this

Hypnosis software, built by a hypnosis coach.

Sue has been working in Berlin for years as a hypnosis coach. She built the tool that was missing in her own session room. Not a software vendor who knows the problem only theoretically — a hypnosis coach forging her own tool.

Frequent questions about hypnosis software

Short answers.

Which hypnosis software is best for my practice?

There's currently no other hypnosis software on the market that combines phase-based workflow logic, automatic mic-ducking AND live session recording in one tool. Hypnotika TranceDeck was built explicitly for this. Generic tools (Spotify, Audacity, DJ software) only cover one part each and aren't designed for the live hypnosis workflow.

What does the hypnosis software cost?

Three packages: Yearly License €99 (12 months, 1 device), Lifetime €149 (1 device, unlimited), Practice License €249 (3 devices, unlimited). During the introductory period until 30 September 2026, the Practice License is €199. Lifetime and Practice are real one-time purchases; Yearly expires after 12 months — no auto-renewal, no subscription. Details on the download page.

Which operating system does the hypnosis software run on?

Currently Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit). A macOS version is in preparation for Q4 2026. The software works without internet — no cloud, no account; it only goes online for your license (activation, a check about once a week) and for updates.

Do I need technical skills to set up the hypnosis software?

No. A 4-step setup wizard guides you on first launch: pick your language → choose audio output → set up microphone → switch on recording and choose its folder → done. If VB-Cable is installed for online sessions, the wizard detects it automatically. Typically 5-10 minutes from install to ready.

Does the hypnosis software also work for online sessions over Zoom, Teams or Google Meet?

Yes. With the free helper tool VB-Cable, you pipe music directly into Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet. Step-by-step guide in our audio setup guide. More on online setup: online hypnotherapy with Hypnotika.

Is the hypnosis software also suitable for Yoga Nidra or HypnoBirthing?

Yes, very well. The phase logic translates 1:1 — see our Yoga Nidra page and HypnoBirthing page. In the app, the phase buttons are always called "Intro", "Middle", "Climax" and "Outro" and can't be renamed; you assign the stages of your session to them. What you can name freely are your session presets, for example "Yoga Nidra".
