Track kinds and filter in the library.

Five categories for five purposes. Filter makes large libraries manageable.

1 · The five kinds

  • 🌿 Nature — waves, wind, forest, rain, crackle. Key-free, always compatible.
  • 🎵 Music — composed pieces with BPM & key. Main session body.
  • 🎤 Voice — spoken suggestions, guided meditation. Special case, often as voice layer.
  • Sound — short triggers (bowls, snaps, heartbeats). Only for anchor technique, not for phases.
  • Other — catch-all.

2 · Filter chip row

Above the track list: five chips (All, Nature, Music, Voice, Sound, Other) plus per-kind counter. Click a chip to filter; click „All" to reset. Empty kinds shown grey-disabled.

3 · What's auto-detected vs. set

Bundle imports (nature sounds + anchor sounds) get the kind from the manifest. User imports default to Music — change in the track detail drawer (edit icon).

4 · Locked kinds

For bundled Sound tracks (the 38 anchor sounds), the kind switcher is locked — they're hard-coded by the bundle manifest. Bundled Nature tracks remain switchable.

5 · Why Sound tracks aren't picked for phases

The engine filters out kind === 'sound' from phase selection. Even if you accidentally tag a sound track with a phase tag, it won't be picked — only available as anchor trigger in the cockpit. Prevents a 1-sec finger-snap from being picked as a 5-min middle track.
