Hypnotika TranceDeck — versions & updates

Now genuinely runs fully offline:

• Fonts and icons ship with the app — until now they were fetched from an external server on every start. Without internet, every icon in the interface was missing, and the connection revealed each time that Hypnotika had been launched. Both are gone: the app brings everything itself

Listen to recordings and pass them on:

• Play button in the history — listen to a recorded session directly, without hunting for the folder. If the file has been moved or deleted, the app says so instead of reaching into nothing
• „Send by email" opens your mail program with the recording already attached. Nothing is sent — that stays your click. The file size is shown on the button, and above 20 MB the app warns you, because most providers reject anything larger
• Fixed: The recording folder chosen in the settings was ignored when saving — recordings always went to the default folder while „Open folder" led into the empty chosen one

More control over the sound:

• New level control for all anchors — it sits on top of the volume you set per anchor and moves them all together. Music, microphone and nature sounds have had this for a while; anchors were the only ones without
• Anchor sounds can now be mapped to MIDI pads — previously only the Stream Deck plugin could trigger them

Stream Deck plugin: 25 actions instead of 10

• Nature sounds — all five slots plus „nature sound off". The keys label themselves with the name of the sound; the one currently playing gets a dot in front
• All six anchors instead of three
• Microphone on/off with the current state visible on the key
• Next and previous track within the running phase
• Four levels on the dials: music, microphone, nature sounds and anchors, each on its own
• One-click installation: the plugin installs with a double-click — no unpacking, no copying into system folders
• The guide in the settings now leads to the plugin instead of assigning keys by hand

Sound check with your client:

• New Soundcheck button in the cockpit — verify before the session that the music reaches your client: a purpose-made, relaxing sound bed plays through the real music path (including the online output and ducking) without giving away the hypnosis music. Half-second fade-in, seamless loop, one click ends the check

Recording made visible & findable (thanks to our beta feedback):

• Recording indicator in the cockpit — a pulsing red dot next to the timer shows the session is being captured as an MP3; if a session deliberately runs without recording, a subtle "no recording" appears (click leads to the setting)
• The history now explains the difference between the text log and the MP3 recording — with direct jumps to the setting and to the recordings folder
• Unambiguous wording: the text log is now called "Save session history" — "recording" always means the MP3

Cockpit polish:

• The microphone readout simply says "Microphone" — the full device name appears on mouse-over, without technical codes
• The Soft Stop button sits exactly on the phase-button grid; the dB scale of the level meter stays neatly inside its box

Linux beta:

• First Linux version as a closed beta (AppImage) — with Linux-specific hotkeys (Ctrl+Alt+1–6) and adapted setup texts (PipeWire instead of VB-Cable). Not for sale — details on the download page

Nature sounds as a second audio layer (five tiles running in parallel with the music, own level slider, gentle crossfades), six anchor-sound slots (hotkeys Q–Z), a decluttered cockpit with transition display and dB sliders, plus a much faster start and non-blocking import.
